A security camera caught the dramatic collapse of the I-35W Bridge into the Mississippi River during rush hour traffic yesterday in Minnesota. A majority of the freeway bridge has fallen into the river below, and there are fears that additional sections may fall.

Four people have died after their helicopters, owned by rival US television channels, collided in mid-air while covering a car chase.

Both helicopters went down in a park in central Phoenix, Arizona, and caught fire as they were covering the police pursuit of a pick-up truck.

Brian Swanson, a spokesman for the utility, said power failures were reported throughout wide swaths of the east side of San Francisco, including downtown and at PG&E's own office on Beale Street near the Ferry Building.

The outage first occurred at about 1:50 p.m., and electricity flickered on and off at least five times before power was restored at about 4 p.m.

A magnitude 4.2 quake struck a couple miles northeast of the center of Oakland at 4:42 a.m. today, causing power outage for almost 5,000 customers in the East Bay.

The early morning quake jolted and damaged a switch that controlled the flow of power to homes, said Susan Simon, spokeswoman for Pacific Gas & Electric. The outages were scattered across Oakland.

Virgin America today announced it would launch flights next month and began taking reservations, following months of hurdles in gaining the U.S. Department of Transportation's approval to get off the ground.

Virgin America on Aug. 8 plans to launch its flagship route between San Francisco and New York JFK, as well as service between SFO and Los Angeles International. Beginning Aug. 29, the carrier will launch LAX-JFK service, and on Sept. 26 will serve Washington Dulles from San Francisco. DETROIT -- A 49-year-old Michigan man says he only sought excitement in his life when he ran nude through his community.

But what he got was 30 days in jail for running while wearing only a stocking cap, gloves and reflective tape.

A judge sentenced Russell Rotta of Jackson County's Blackman Township to 24 months probation and fined him $1,500.

Rotta pleaded guilty on May 22 to indecent exposure.

Police say Rotta told them he had been running naked since he was a teenager and generally woke up each day to conceal the activity from his wife.

"Thought it was brilliant, witty, clever, funny, you name it," Southern said.

Although her lyrics say, "H-I-L-L-A-R-Y I know you're not gay but I'm hoping for bi...lingual," Southern said that she is a straight woman.

"...I knew the comedy would come from a girl singing about a girl. That's what made the parody different from the Obama Girl video."

Hillary did not comment on the video and the campaign said they had nothing to do with the video.
