Rosie O'Donnell Says One 'American Idol' Judge 'Probably Intoxicated'

Donald Trump is so yesterday - now Rosie O'Donnell is attacking "American Idol" star Paula Abdul.

O'Donnell accused the "Idol" judge of being "probably intoxicated" during a rant on "The View" yesterday - the second time in two days she's taken both "Idol" and Abdul to task.

O'Donnell's most recent blast came after "The View" showed a clip from Wednesday's night's "Idol," in which Simon Cowell ridiculed Kenneth Briggs, a bug-eyed wannabe contestant from Washington State.

"You look a little odd. Your dancing is terrible, the singing was horrendous and you look like one of those creatures that live in the jungle with those massive eyes - a bush baby," Cowell said.

Abdul and Randy Jackson appeared shocked at Cowell's remarks. "I think you're pretty awesome," she told Briggs.

But she and Jackson then laughed at Briggs after he left the room - joking about Cowell's "bush baby" remark.

"That's compassion for you," O'Donnell said.

"Isn't that what America thinks is entertainment, to make fun of someone's physical appearance and then when they leave the room, laugh hysterically at them?

"Three millionaires. One probably intoxicated," she said - an obvious dig at Abdul's loopy behavior.

O'Donnell's rants about Abdul began Wednesday, the morning after "Idol's" season premiered to a record 37.3 million viewers.

"Paula was very thirsty last night. Did anyone else notice?" O'Donnell said on "The View.""Every [camera] shot that woman was sipping the 'Coca-Cola' in her cup," she said. "And towards the end of the show, one eye was wandering."

Abdul's publicist did not return calls seeking comment yesterday

"Rosie is doing the job that she was hired to do," said O'Donnell's publicist, Cindi Berger.
