Red carpet rivals Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler tried to one-up each other during a recent outing at Hollywood hotspot Area by seeing who could stick their tongue down their respective partner's throat further, reports Us Weekly.

The spit-swapping spectacle took place when Hilton and new boyfriend Josh Henderson arrived at the club, only to discover that Moakler was already there with her husband, Hilton's former pelvic partner, Travis Barker.

Both girls began kissing their respective dates "as if they were trying to one up each other," a witness tells the mag. "Paris was so all over Josh and they were slow-dancing and making out all night."
